What'll Ya Have

"What'll ya have? What'll ya have? What'll ya have? Have your order in your mind and your money in your hand!"

We thought it would be fun to take McKinley to "The Varsity" today. He really enjoyed his cheeseburger, cheese fries and especially his frosted orange!

Since we were in Atlanta, we thought we should cruise on over to the Krispie Kreme.

It was a hard choice, but he decided on the frosted chocolate doughnut with sprinkles!

What a great and yummy day!

Play date with Kate

We had to babysit Cousin Kate while her mommy and daddy went to run some errands. Here are some highlights from our day!

First we had grilled cheese and chips for lunch.

McKinley thinks that Baby Kate is funny!

Next, we played with the rocket and truck!

Next little Mozart and Beethoven played a masterpiece.

We even had time for Van Gogh and Monet to draw some pictures!

Finally, we ended the day with a little wrestling.

What a fun day! McKinley is going to Aunt Tammy and Uncle E's house to play tomorrow! Aunt Tammy says it will be a piece of cake! She hasn't kept her nephew McKinley in a while. We will see who survives tomorrows play date!

Hot Fun in the Summertime

We thought that the kids might like a dip in the pool since it was so hot today! McKinley and Cousin Kate had a great time!

Gulf Shores or Bust!

We set out early Wednesday morning for Gulf Shores. We had told McKinley that we were going to see the water. Here are some pictures of him on the ride down. As you can tell it was an exciting ride down there! We watched lots of Thomas, Go Diego Go and Curious George. There were also some very ferocious dinosaurs in the back seat and an very long and on going game of peek-aboo!

McKinley's favorite part of our condo was the bunk beds. Once he got up there, we could not get him down!

McKinley loves the "b-box" (sandbox). He was so excited when he first saw it! He called the ocean the "big pooool" and the beach the "big b-box) As soon as we got unpacked, we headed to the beach! He was not sure about the ocean yet, but loved playing in the sand.

The next morning we woke up very early (6am). There is nothing like breakfast on balcony!

We were the only people on the beach. I think at 6:30 in the morning we were the only people up! McKinley liked having the beach to himself!

We collected lots of shells!

Here is McKinley at the Zoo. He loved feeding the goats and deer.

Our last day, we went and ate at Lamberts -Home of the Throwed Rolls! McKinley could care less about the rolls. He liked the wooden train outside!

We had a great trip! We are home for a while before we head to Dino World and to see Thomas the Tank Engine!
