A Green Slide

All McKinley wanted for Christmas this year was a green slide and a t-rex dinosaur. The green slide was too big for Santa to bring Christmas Eve night, so he brought it a little early. Here is McKinley playing on his new playset. He loves it!

Kids Christmas Party

A couple of nights before Christmas, we had some friends over for a little Christmas get together.

Here are the twins, Bonnie Kay & Molly Margaret opening their gifts! Kate was really excited about her dress up stuff!

Preschool Christmas Program & Party

Today was McKinley's Christmas program at Preschool. Some of the pictures are far away, but it is pretty easy to pick out McKinley.....

Like this one, he is the one doing the opposite of everyone else! He would rather see what is going one behind him that sing facing the crowd!One of the songs that they sang was "Let it Shine", he decided to try and eat his candle. Miss Susan was nice enough to take it out of his mouth half way through the song!

We finished up the program with a party in his classroom. They did a book swap. Here he is opening his book.

Fantasy of Lights

We went to Callaway Gardens last night to see the lights and Santa Claus. We were not sure if he would be scared of Santa this year. He was very impatient in the line waiting to see Santa. He kept saying "It's mine turn to see Santa!" When it was his turn, he walked right up to him and started talking. He also took a great picture!

Gingerbread Train

I got this great idea last weekend. I thought it would be fun to make a gingerbread house with McKinley. While we were at Target we found a gingerbread train. I thought "Wow, how perfect! This will be so fun!" So we bought it and set of for home for some family fun! We couldn't stop laughing because all the candy and sides of the train kept falling off! Here is what it was suppose to look like...........

Here is what our train.....or train wreck looked like.

Not exactly picture perfect, but McKinley had a blast. He could not understand why he could not take the train downstairs to play with it!
