Almost 6 months old...

Guess who is sitting up......finally!!! I have been trying to get Marley Ann to sit up for a few weeks. She is a little on the lazy side, but tonight we finally got her to sit up!

Back to School!

McKinley's started Pre-K this year. Here we are before our first day of school.

Feed the Piggy!

I am a little behind on my post....what can I say....life with 2 kids! Anyway, about 3 weeks ago we got McKinley's old high chair down from the attic for Marley Ann. Little Piggy loves sitting in her big girl chair and eating her dinner!

VBS 2009

This week is Vacation Bible School at our church. This is McKinley's 5th year going to VBS and the first year that he really gets it. He has been able to tell me his stories that he has learned each night and last night he told me that he learned to "forgive one another". I have heard that he is really enjoying the songs and knows all the movements that goes along with them and that he really likes playing musical instruments too! One of his other favorite things to do is crafts. Last night they made animal tails. McKinley and Kate made zebra tails.
Apparently they are making mask to go with their tails tonight......so more pictures later!

For a special treat, an ice cream truck came to the church. The kids loved it, especially since many had never seen an ice cream truck before.

And of course Marley Ann had to have a bite!

Fun at the Water Park

McKinley and Marley Ann were invited to a birthday party at the Carrollton Water Park. Marley Ann and I hung out by the picnic tables, but as you can tell by the pictures, McKinley had a great time!

It's Spash Time

Thomas Live on Stage...A Circus Comes to Town

We had a special "McKinley Day" and went to the Fox in Atlanta to see Thomas Live on Stage. McKinley thought that the Fox was really cool....he said it was the "coolest castle he's ever been in before with stars". We had a great time and the show was great!

One Little, Two Little Indians

Thanks Aunt TT, Uncle E and Kate for the Indian Gear from Gatlinburg, TN. As you can tell Chief McKinley loves his....Pocahontas is still a little unsure about hers.

Marley Ann is 4 months old!!!

Marley Ann's 4 month check-up at the doctor was last week. She is doing great and growing like a weed! She did a great job at the doctors visit, even when she had to get her 4 shots. Here are her latest stats......

14lbs 6 ozs

24.7 inches long

Chattanooga Day 2

The famous part of Rock City where you can see 7 states. He said that he was trying to find his Nanny's house in Georgia.

After Rock City, we headed to Coolidge Park. I have been wanting to visit this park since I saw an article about it in Southern Living years ago. It has an old restored carousel and an a cool water park for the kids. We did not have McKinley's swim trunks with us today, but promised to bring them next time.

We ran him around the park until he was really tired and then all went back to the room for a nice long nap!!!

Chattanooga Day 1

Here are some pictures from our first day at Chattanooga.....and boy are we tired!!!!! Vacation with 2 kids is exhausting....or should I say vacation with McKinley is exhausting....Marley Ann is the easy one!!! We started the day with a trip to the aquarium.

We are so excited that Uncle Brian was able to come with us, it is especially nice to have the extra set of hands. McKinley was so excited that he could touch the fish!!

McKinley got to pet a stingray too, which he loved.....he loved it so much he had to have a stuffed stingray from the gift shop.

No trip to Chattanooga would be complete without a trip to the Chattanooga Choo Choo!

McKinley is obsessed with the Inclined Railroad, and that is ALL that he talked about ALL day was seeing and riding the Inclined Railroad.....until we finally took him to see it.........I think this is the only "train" that he does not like!
