Preschool Christmas Program & Party

Today was McKinley's Christmas program at Preschool. Some of the pictures are far away, but it is pretty easy to pick out McKinley.....

Like this one, he is the one doing the opposite of everyone else! He would rather see what is going one behind him that sing facing the crowd!One of the songs that they sang was "Let it Shine", he decided to try and eat his candle. Miss Susan was nice enough to take it out of his mouth half way through the song!

We finished up the program with a party in his classroom. They did a book swap. Here he is opening his book.

Fantasy of Lights

We went to Callaway Gardens last night to see the lights and Santa Claus. We were not sure if he would be scared of Santa this year. He was very impatient in the line waiting to see Santa. He kept saying "It's mine turn to see Santa!" When it was his turn, he walked right up to him and started talking. He also took a great picture!

Gingerbread Train

I got this great idea last weekend. I thought it would be fun to make a gingerbread house with McKinley. While we were at Target we found a gingerbread train. I thought "Wow, how perfect! This will be so fun!" So we bought it and set of for home for some family fun! We couldn't stop laughing because all the candy and sides of the train kept falling off! Here is what it was suppose to look like...........

Not exactly picture perfect, but McKinley had a blast. He could not understand why he could not take the train downstairs to play with it!

Piano Man

I was cooking supper tonight and heard this banging and yelling. I peeked around the corner with my camera to capture this wonderful piano recital. This masterpiece is McKinley's version of the Thomas the Tank Engine song. (press the play button to enjoy!)

Life with McKinley

I wish that I had McKinley's energy and could bottle it up! Andy and I wonder why we are so tired all the time! Here is a brief glimpse at an afternoon with McKinley!

We started decorating the outside of the house today for Christmas. The lights and decorations are going to help Santa find our house! As you can see McKinley tried to help...........

Finally we settle down for some Kentucky Football.

Even though we lost, McKinley kept us entertained!

Happy Turkey Day!

McKinley woke up very excited about Thanksgiving today. I had the hardest time getting him to take his nap. He kept climbing out of bed and coming into the kitchen and saying "Hey Mommy, I need to come and see what is going on in here". He even helped me bake cakes and could not wait to eat them.

He is such a big boy and can feed himself!

After the dishes were done and the house cleared out, we watched "The Polar Express" and drank hot chocolate. McKinley was actually still through most of the movie.....big suprise!

Our Thanksgiving would not be complete without a visit to see our favorite twins....Bon Bon and Moo Moo!

Here are the kids playing. Actually it is McKinley entertaining the girls. Molly (the one sitting on the floor) kept laughing at McKinley as he spun circles around the floor. Imagine these three this time next year!

Build a Bear...or Dinosaur???

McKinley went to Build-A-Bear today.

First he picked out which animal he wanted to have as a new friend.

Next, he picked out a heart and made a wish!
He had fun pushing the pedal to stuff his new friend.

Next,we had to give him a bath and brush him.

Halloween 2007

Thomas the Tank Engine Goes Trick or Treating!!!!McKinley was so excited about Halloween this year. He even picked out his costume. (big suprise that he would pick Thomas!) We took him to the square to trick or treat and he was walking around yelling "I'm trick or treating! I am so excited!"
Papu and Nanny came to see the kids before we headed out looking for treats!

Just look at these cute flowers! Bonnie Kay and Molly Margaret got lots of attention on their 1st Halloween! McKinley had a great time Trick or Treating with them! He cannot wait till next year when they can walk around with him!

Fall Festival

We had our annual Fall Festival at church Saturday night. Here are some pictures of our night!
