The fair is here in town and we went.....twice! This is McKinley's 3rd year going to the fair, but the first year that he really enjoyed it! McKinley and I decided to go opening night since Andy had to work the fair and we didn't have anything else to do. He wanted to ride EVERYTHING....especially the Ferris Wheel and was very mad that he was not old enough. He was especially persistant on riding the dragon "train". I tried to tell him that it was not a train, but a roller coaster. He would not listen to me and wanted to ride anyway. He was a little scared about getting on by himself, but luckily one of my students from school was there and offered to ride with him. I love his face in this picture. He was scared to death. Everytime the ride would pass me, he would scream "Stop the train.....this train in crazy!"
He did much better on the more stationary rides......
Saturday night we went back to the fair to see the Lumberjack competition. (our neighbor was competing....he won the last 2 years and took home the title again)
